The Topeka Performing Arts Center is excited to announce the return of its beloved holiday tradition, Gingerbread Homes for the Holidays. This festive event will take place on November 15, 16, and 17, 2024, at a new location: West Ridge Mall.

For just $6 per person, visitors can immerse themselves in a winter wonderland of gingerbread creations. Timed entry tickets can be reserved starting October 1, and tickets will also be available at the door.

The highlight of the event is the Gingerbread Competition, which invites both professional and amateur competitors to showcase their skills. Entries will be judged on overall appearance, originality & creativity, difficulty, precision, technique, and skill.

Participants can register now to compete in one of the following categories:

• Professional Builders: $500 first-place prize.
• Novice Adults: $250 first-place prize.
• Novice Children: $100 first-place prize.

This event not only celebrates the artistry and creativity of gingerbread house building but also serves as a fundraiser for the Topeka Performing Arts Center, supporting its mission to bring performing arts to the community.
