2024 Tall Corn Festival, August 9th-11th

The historic Tall Corn Festival is returning to Rossville, Kansas this August! Come celebrate the beginning of the harvest season at this nearly 100-year-old festival and with this years’ theme: “Raised on Country”.

The festivities start Friday, August 9th, as craft vendors set up shop in Rossville’s picturesque city park. Hungry festival goers can feast on delicious food offerings while browsing unique handmade crafts. But that’s not all— the Rossville band, cheer, and dance will showcase their talents and will keep the energy high! Festival goers will also enjoy performances from the opener, Undercover 80’s, as well as the main act, Jake Bleau.

Saturday morning starts bright and early with a community pancake feed at 7:00 AM. Fuel up for the day ahead! Soon after you can catch the children’s parade winds through the streets. Following closely behind is the Grand Parade, a colorful procession of local organizations, vintage cars, and spirited marchers. After the parade, head back to Rossville City Park for the Corn on the Cob eating contest, sponsored by the Town of Rossville.

Sunday brings even more activities to celebrate! The Youth Vendor Fair showcases young entrepreneurs and their creative wares. Meanwhile, the Pool Party invites everyone to cool off and splash around. And for those with artistic inclinations, the Paint and Sip event combines creativity with camaraderie.

Come and celebrate with the city of Rossville! Visit the event page for the full schedule and more information about the festival.
