Come out for a joyous occasion as the Kansas Children’s Service League join forces with The Pennant as they bring to you their annual Red Stocking Breakfast.

Taking place Saturday December 11, 2021 from 7:30 – 10:30 am this breakfast brings the community together and celebrate the holiday season for the first time since the pandemic in 2019.

This breakfast will be buffet style, dished out by local celebrities and you will even see Amber Lee and other personalities at Cumulus Media while having an opportunity to win cool prizes like a signed helmet from Kansas City Chief’s quarterback Patrick Mahomes.

Tickets to this event is only $15 in advance until Friday, December 10th, and then prices at the door go up to $18.

The Red Stocking Breakfast is a continuance of a tradition of holiday giving to KCSL that started nearly 100 years ago. In the 1920s, the community was invited to take holiday gifts to children living at KCSL’s receiving home, a temporary residence for children awaiting a foster or adoptive home. These children would hang their “Little Red Stockings” in anticipation of the generosity of the community.
