Rhonda Zornes is a kindergarten teacher at Timmerman Elementary school for USD 253 in Emporia, KS. She has been teaching for 22 years and has made a huge impact on the families in the school community. Here is what her nominator had to say:
“I would like to nominate Ms. Rhonda Zornes at Timmerman Elementary (Emporia, KS) for the Crystal Apple Award. She has been teaching the kindergarten students for years. She is definitely one of the best teachers we have ever met. It was quite emotional moment when we sent off our little ones to school. She is the one caring, teaching, and helping them. I know we are in good hands. My kids have learned so much from her. Her teaching is definitely the life changing experience. It takes patience, love, and passion to be a kindergarten teacher. Mrs. Zornes is the ONE!”
