In 2018, Majic 107.7 and Prairie Band Casino and Resort  celebrated and honored educators in the NE Kansas area. Each month, a Crystal Apple award, along with a Prairie Band prize pack was given to someone who was nominated by clicking here.

JULY:                Mary Sheetz from Greenbush School District

AUGUST:          Rachel Witt from TARC

SEPTEMBER:   Melissa Siegfreid from Auburn Elementary

OCTOBER:       Lonna Latimer from State Street Elementary

NOVEMBER:    Samantha Pettit from St. Matthew’s Catholic School

DECEMBER:    Sabrina Grienke from Overbrook Elementary

One of these teachers will be awarded Educator of the YEAR! The educator of the year will receive $1000 donation to their school, along with a Prairie Band Casino Prize Pack (with an overnight stay, $100 Prairie Cash, 2 Breakfast buffet vouchers, $100 to the steakhouse and 2 concert tickets).
