As the 2023-24 school year comes to a close, Majic 107.7 is thrilled to announce that Tecumseh South Elementary School teacher Mrs. Brae Richards, has been awarded the prestigious Crystal Apple Award for the month of May!
Mrs. Richards, a dedicated teacher at Tecumseh South Elementary, has consistently demonstrated unwavering commitment to her students. Her passion for education, innovative teaching methods, and genuine care for each child have left an indelible mark on our school community. Nominated by a Abby Orton, Mrs. Richards truly embodies the spirit of excellence in teaching.

She has been at Tecumseh South as a Sped preschool teacher for 19 years and 20 years with the district. The grace and patience of that woman is incredible! She is the loveliest woman, and even though my children are no longer in class with her. I still get pictures of my children from her . If she sees them in the hall, she will snap a picture and send it to me. It lights up my day! I know if she has the compassion to take a little few seconds out of her day to light up a child’s face and parent then she is a true angel.
She has always been extremely helpful and comfort anytime of the year and I feel still so very comfortable reaching out to her for questions and concerns. I know I can always count on her.
For Mrs. Richards endless dedication to her classroom and Tecumseh South Elementary she will receive the following.

- Also, Tecumseh South Elementary is now entered to win a $1,000 donation which will be given away in January 2025.
