Honoring Educators: Jefferson’s Announces Inaugural Teacher of the Year Award

Jefferson’s is celebrating teachers in our community! In celebration of National Teachers’ Day on Tuesday, May 6, Jefferson’s will be unveiling their first-ever run of the “Topeka Jefferson’s Teacher of the Year” award. This initiative aims to honor the dedication and hard work of teachers who make a lasting impact on their students by inspiring a love of learning, serving as role models in their community, and consistently going above and beyond for their students.

Who Can Be Nominated?

The award is open to teachers of all age groups who live or work within a 10-mile radius of Topeka. Nominations can be made by anyone, including students, parents and guardians of students, community members, and school officials.

Nomination Period

The nomination period will be open March 31 through April 11 at 11:59 PM. This gives the community ample time to submit their nominations and highlight the exceptional work of their favorite teachers.
