February’s Crystal Apple Goes to Overbrook Attendance Center’s Megan Reynolds

The secretary at Overbrook Attendance Center is our February Crystal Apple Award winner. Megan Reynolds has been described by teachers at Overbrook as, “…amazing, so humble and VERY deserving of recognition!” Megan started with the district as a para before transitioning to the secretary role. She’s the first person you greet when you enter the school and she always shows kindness and leads with heart. If a student comes in the office having a rough morning, often times Megan will walk them to class and is committed to cheering them up. She NEVER forgets a face! She knows every student by name, and their siblings, cousins, etc. She’s the glue that keeps our school together. Not only do the students love Megan, she’s the computer whiz who helps other staff in need, including fixing PowerSchool. Megan was nominated by a teacher at Overbrook Attendance Center, Maggie Mead. Maggie said, “(Megan) truly takes care of every single one of us – students, families, faculty, and staff. She loves our school makes it a great place to be. … We all love Megan!”

As a way to show Megan how much she’s appreciated, Majic 107.7 presented Megan Reynolds with a Crystal Apple Award and a prize pack from Prairie Band Casino and Resort. A new winner is selected every month – from teachers and paras, to principals, coaches, janitors and secretaries. Make your nominations HERE –> NOMINATION FORM
