The Capper Foundation’s Adult Day Services has teamed up with Fire Me Up Ceramics & Fine Arts Studio, LLC to offer a unique and engaging experience for the adults they serve. This collaboration provides a wonderful opportunity for participants to express their creativity through art, while also contributing to a meaningful cause. The partnership aims to enhance the lives of adults with disabilities by offering them a hands-on, artistic experience. Participants will have the chance to work with clay and other materials, guided by the skilled artists at Fire Me Up Ceramics. This initiative not only fosters creativity but also helps in developing fine motor skills and boosting self-esteem.
Valentine’s Day Art Sale
The public will have the opportunity to purchase these unique pieces of art during the First Friday Artwalk Show on February 7. This event, held in the vibrant NOTO Arts & Entertainment District, is a perfect occasion to find one-of-a-kind Valentine’s Day gifts. Half the proceeds will go to the artist and the other half will cover the cost of continuing classes and supplies.
Make sure to mark your calendars for February 7 and join us at the First Friday Artwalk. Enjoy the creativity on display, find the perfect Valentine’s Day gift, and support a local non-profit that makes a significant difference in the community.
We look forward to seeing you there and sharing the incredible art created by the talented participants of the Capper Foundation’s Adult Day Services.
