Join us in celebrating Matthew Holloman, a 6th-grade ancient history teacher at Chase Middle School in Topeka. Matthew is the type of teacher who takes time to understand each student’s unique needs and learning styles, creating a supportive environment where every student feels valued. His passion for teaching goes beyond teaching students facts; he brings the past to life in a way that inspires curiosity and critical thinking in students. For 9 years, Matthew has worked in the USD 501 district alongside some amazing educators and students!
Matthew Holloman is a humble man who firmly believes in the power of education. And get this – he comes from a LONG line of educators. His uncle was a band director for 35 years at Topeka High. His mom was a teacher for many years. His dad was a teacher, turned principal. Both of his grandmothers were teachers, his aunt, and some cousins. It’s in the fam! Majic107.7 truly believes Mr. Matthew Holloman is deserving of our Crystal Apple Award for teaching. He has received a custom engraved Crystal Apple Award and will enjoy some R & R thanks to our friends at Prairie Band Casino and Resort – dinner, free plays, an overnight stay, and more.
