Ghosts, goblins and ghouls – friendly ones at that – are about to take over the Topeka Zoo for Boo at the Zoo! For many families, Boo at the Zoo has become a tradition. This annual event, touted as the LARGEST Halloween event in Topeka, draws over 6,000 children each day. This year’s event is expected to be even bigger as we continue to celebrate with two days—Saturday, October 19th and Saturday, October 26th.
Boo at the Zoo offers a fun and safe Halloween experience for visitors of all ages. Guests are invited to don their favorite costumes, stroll through the zoo, and enjoy trick-or-treating with a variety of vendors. In addition to Halloween-themed treats, there will be special enrichment activities featuring the zoo’s animals.
The event will run from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm on both dates, with the zoo operating during its normal hours. Admission to Boo at the Zoo is included with regular zoo admission. Members can enjoy express entry on the south side of the zoo, near the Giraffe and Friends Exhibit, to bypass the lines.
Also, look out for Majic 107.7 and Cumulus Topeka on site on October 19th passing out candy to trick or treaters.
