The day is going to the dogs!

Every year, our friends from the Helping Hands Humane Society host the pet-friendly and family-friendly festival Paws in the Park to celebrate their love of animals and to socialize with other animals.

On Saturday, April 29, 2023, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., this celebration will be held at the Topeka West Soccer Field, near to their shelter, for outdoor space and if the weather changes they will move the fun inside to their indoors at HHHS.

There will be a Facebook LIVE session and pet promenade hosted by Helping Hands Humane Society.
They encourage you to take your dog for a mile stroll in your area and check out our adoptable animals online!

Also, Shawn Knight from the Majic Morning Show will be on-site to help celebrate the occasion!

The Helping Hands Humane Society welcomes you to celebrate with your pet, but please remember that all dogs must have current vaccinations and that retractable leashes are not permitted. Cats must be harnessed or in carriers.
