If the theory holds true, starting in 2020 Mary, Dorothy, Helen, Betty, and Margaret will be the top girl names while Robert, John, James, William, and Charles will be popular for boys. Even the name Ruth will be appearing again soon, and not just on the candy bar Baby Ruth
