Shawnee County Parks & Rec have some special aquatic events to wrap up the 2019 swim season at two of their aquatic centers. While the last day of swimming is Aug. 11 with only Midwest Health Aquatic Center staying open on weekends only through Labor Day. Blaisdell and Shawnee North Aquatic Centers will be having their evening dog swims this August!

• Aug. 12: Dog Swim – 6-8 p.m. at Shawnee North Family Aquatic Center. $5 per dog.
• Aug. 13: Dog Swim – 6-8 p.m. at Blaisdell Family Aquatic Center: $5 per dog.
