The big game is coming up Sunday, and you can add to your family by adopting a pet for a discounted price.
Helping Hands Humane Society of Topeka is celebrating the big game between the Rams and Patriots by having a “Big Game” adoption special. According to the press release:
“On Saturday, February 2nd 11:30am-6pm and Sunday, February 3rd 1-5pm it will be just $53 to adopt dogs and puppies (in honor of “The Big Game 53) and $15 to adopt cats and kittens (in honor of Kansas City Chiefs Quarterback Patrick Mahomes’ number. Mahomes was named to the 2019 Pro Bowl, named First Team All-Pro, and named AFC Offensive player of the year—even though the Chiefs aren’t in the Super Bowl, they’re still in our hearts!). The special does not include High Profile Pets. We stop new adoption processes 30 minutes prior to close, so get here early! Adoption Coordinator Michelle McCart says, “We have many wonderful pets looking to make a touchdown in your heart!”
