I have had a Yahoo email account for years now. Back in 2013, over three billion email accounts were hacked by numerous groups around the world. It wouldn’t have been a big deal, if they would have told us when it happened. That security breach was not disclosed till three years later in 2016.

Now the new owners of Yahoo, that would be Verizon, have settled a class action lawsuit. According to INC., Yahoo email account holders maybe receiving up to $375 for their troubles. The only thing that is keeping this from happening is a judge signing off. Which is expected to be soon.
