Marci Alstatt, is a teacher at Santa Fe Trail High School. She was actually nominated by one of her coworkers for this Crystal Apple award!

The heartfelt nomination read, “My friend and colleague, Marci Alstatt, has spent her 28 year teaching career working with students who needed a “cheerleader”. Students who often did not believe in their own abilities and just needed that one person to push them to always strive to reach within themselves to achieve more than they ever dreamed was possible. Ms. Alstatt has spent countless hours after school working with students on any subject matter they may need help with. If anyone deserves recognition for their dedication to their students, it is Ms. Alstatt. Marci Alstatt teaches at Santa Fe Trail High school. She teaches personal finance as well as helps student with online college classes and a variety of online high school courses. In any given class period, she may have as many as 10 different subjects that students need her to help them with ranging from various math classes to English classes or government. To say that she is a jack of all trades is an understatement.”
